Who We Are
Jeff Peterson is the founder and administrator of TheAthleticDirectors.com. Jeff is a product of Christian education and Christian school athletics. After receiving his degree in History Education and Physical Education from Pensacola Christian College in 2008, Jeff took his first job at Old Suwanee Christian School in Buford, GA as a teacher and coach. In the summer of 2012, he and his family moved to Weatherford, TX where he is working at Victory Baptist Academy as the athletic director. In his short career Jeff has coached a variety of sports. His major coaching accomplishments include a 2011 GCAA Class A state runner-up in varsity boys basketball while at Old Suwanee and a 2013 TCAF state title in varsity girls cross country with VBA. He specializes in building programs from the ground up. Jeff is married to Carman and is a father to two year old Carter and another son, Gunnar, who is still in the works.
Josh Gillispie is the co-founder and a contributor to TheAthleticDirectors.com. Raised in Louisville, KY, Josh also graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2008. Josh began coaching and teaching at Old Suwanee Christian as well in 2009. He is now the athletic director at OSC. Josh has coached many sports in his career, but he has excelled most in cross country and volleyball. The Conquerors have claimed eleven cross country league titles. The varsity volleyball team has been GCAA state runners-up twice under Josh’s leadership. A specialist in creating team culture and developing sport strategy, Josh continues to take Old Suwanee’s athletic department to the next level. Josh and his wife, Heidi, have one son, Henry, with another child on the way.
